What's the process?

What's the process

Financial Planning is a process to help you reach your goals.

It is not just about products or investments, nor is it only for people with lots of money to invest. ..

We will work with you to determine your values - what's really most important to you, and then work with you to meet your goals and dreams.

We go through the following process which ensures we are giving the most valuable and appropriate recommendations.

Initial Meeting (Introductory Phone Call):

In this 15-minute phone call, we’ll discuss your goals, dreams, values, priorities, and any concerns you might have.

We’ll determine if our services align with your needs and whether we’re a good fit to work together.

Further Discovery About You:

We’ll gather more information about your current financial situation. This step ensures that our advice is tailored to your specific circumstances.

You’ll receive an “All About You” questionnaire to provide additional details.

First Face-to-Face Meeting:

We’ll meet in person to delve deeper into your financial situation, preferences, and objectives.

This meeting allows us to understand your unique context better.

Research and Strategy Planning:

Armed with knowledge about your goals and financial situation, we’ll explore various options.

Our team will analyse investment strategies, risk tolerance, tax implications, and other relevant factors.

Presentation of Your Road Map:

We’ll present our recommended strategy to achieve your goals.

During this meeting, we’ll explain our recommendations in detail, and you’ll have the chance to ask questions.

If necessary, we can adjust the plan based on your feedback.

Implementation of Recommendations:

Once you’re satisfied with the strategy, we’ll assist you in implementing it.

This may involve filling out application forms or coordinating with third parties (such as solicitors or accountants).

Welcome to the TNSFG Family!:

Congratulations! By taking these steps, you’ve embarked on the journey toward your financial dreams.

We’re here to support you throughout the process.

Ongoing Reviews:

Our initial recommendations are excellent, but life is dynamic.

We’ll regularly review your progress and adjust the plan as needed.

Remember, financial planning is not just about products or investments—it’s about aligning your financial decisions with your values and aspirations. Welcome aboard!

Things can we help with

Financial Services We Offer

At our firm, we understand that everyone’s financial situation is unique. Once we’ve determined your priorities and goals, we can assist you with a variety of financial services. Here are some common areas where we can provide guidance:

Superannuation Analysis

We’ll carefully assess your superannuation fund(s) to ensure they align with your current circumstances and retirement objectives. Our analysis includes evaluating the overall structure, associated fees, investment options, and any available insurance coverage. Additionally, we’ll explore strategies to enhance your retirement benefits and minimise taxes.

Personal Insurances

Protecting yourself and your family financially is crucial. We’ll help you explore personal insurance options, which cover situations where you may be unable to work due to injury, illness, or unfortunate events. Whether you have debt, dependents, or earn an income, having appropriate insurance is essential.

Budgeting and Income Planning

Taking control of your income and changing your money mindset are essential steps toward achieving your financial goals.

Debt Management

Debt is a common aspect of modern life. We’ll assist you in optimising your debt situation, whether it’s structuring existing debt or exploring options for home loans, investment borrowing, and debt reduction strategies.

Retirement Planning

Once we understand your retirement goals, we’ll develop tailored strategies to maximise your retirement benefits. This includes leveraging superannuation and other assets effectively. We’ll also consider potential Centrelink benefits to ensure you can enjoy a comfortable retirement without financial worries.

Investment Options

Navigating the vast array of investment choices can be overwhelming. Our personalised recommendations will align with your unique circumstances and goals. Whether you’re interested in short-term or long-term investments, we’ll guide you toward suitable options.

What are the fees

What are the fees?

We are a fee for service advice firm, meaning we receive no commissions from investments or superannuation.

This ensures the advice provided is suited to YOU and not based on any specific benefits we may get from providers.

We do have an option to receive commission from insurance providers based on the cover recommended. We sometimes do this as it can cover the implementation fees associated with the insurance recommendations. We will determine the most appropriate option for you.

Advice Fee

The advice fee covers the initial process, including the following: meetings, collating information, researching and determining most appropriate recommendations and presenting these recommendations to you.

This fee is payable regardless of whether you want to implement all, some, or none of our recommendations.

Implementation Fee

The implementation fee covers implementing each of our recommendations made. We will then follow up during the process to ensure everything is implemented as per our expectations.
